It is estimated that by 2050, there will be 131.5 million people worldwide living with dementia.

September is designated as World Alzheimer’s Month, with September 21st as World Alzheimer’s Day. Many communities host a “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” close to September 21st.

You can find out about a “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” and other community activities in your area by going to the FIND YOUR WALK page.

While there is no known cure as yet, information on Alzheimer’s, including current treatments, research, and other helpful tips on understanding and living with dementia can be found at the website for the Alzheimer’s Association, and also from the NIA (National Institute on Aging).
